Once a Week is a collection of short stories and vignettes by A. A. Milne originally published in Punch. The collection was first published on 15 October 1914. lan Alexander Milne (1882-1956) was an English author, best known for his books about the teddy bear Winnie-the-Pooh and for various children [s poems. After graduating from Cambridge in 1903, he contributed humourous verse and whimsical essays to the British humour magazine Punch, joining the staff in 1906 and becoming an assistant editor. During this period, he published 18 plays and 3 novels, including the murder mystery The Red House Mystery (1922). In 1924, he produced a collection of children [s poems When We Were Very Young.
