Her other books include Celebrating Our Equality: A Cookbook with Recipes and Remembrances from Howard University and A Taste of Freedom: A Cookbook with Recipes and Remembrances from the Hampton Institute. Her latest book in this series is Southern Homecoming Traditions, an NAACP Image Award finalist. She lives in the Washington, D.C. area.
