What must be considered when designing the perfect backyard? In order to understand the ways you can fit everything into a yard, you must understand perimeter and area. Lawns, plants, patios, and swimming pools come in all sizes and shapes. A landscape designer uses perimeter and area to plan the perfect outdoor space. With vibrant photos, math charts and diagrams, grade-appropriate text, and informational text features to help navigate the text, students will learn practical, real-world applications of math skills as they learn perimeter and area and build their STEM skills.
