As this is a book about Jesus, most of us will already have a pretty good idea about what we think and feel on this subject. Our knowledge may come simply from what we have heard or read as we pass through a society that is filled with information about him, or we may have studied the bible in depth. Most of us will be somewhere in between, but all of us will have a feeling we know about him.
In truth, even if we have a scholar’s knowledge of the bible it will be unique. Even among Christians, each and every one of the billions of Christians will have a different sum of understanding about God and Jesus. This is the nature of human life.

Christopher Miller grew up in the San Fernando Valley of Los Angeles, and later lived in Mill Valley and the Haight Ashbury district in San Francisco. At age twenty-eight, he returned to the world, worked as a bank manager, and operated a mortgage company before he retired in 1996. For 16 years he lived in semi seclusion on an acreage in an UNESCO World Biosphere Reserve on Lake Huron.
