Dr. Ashish Khanna [M’19, SM’20] has received his Ph.D. degree from National Institute of Technology, Kurukshetra in March 2017. He has completed his PDF from Internet of Things Lab at Inatel, Brazil. He is part of AD Scientific World ranking report as a leading researcher. He has around 170 accepted and published research papers and book chapters in reputed SCI, Scopus journals, conferences and reputed book series including 90 papers accepted and published in SCI indexed Journals and Cumulative Impact Factor of above 350. He also has 10 published Patents to his credit. Additionally, He has co-authored, edited and currently editing around 50 books. He has also served as a keynote speaker, resource person and given several invited talks at national and international events. He has worked as Guest Editor in several reputed journals and served as Series Editor in publishing houses like De Gruyter (Germany), Elsevier and CRC Press. He is also acting as a consulting editor for Elsevier. His research interests include Distributed Systems and its variants, AI and many more. Prof. Vineet Kansal has graduated in Computer Engineering from the GB Pant University of Agriculture and Technology, Pantnagar, and earned his MTech and Ph D from IIT Delhi. He has been in academics for around 30 years. Currently, Dr Kansal is Professor at Institute of Engineering Technology, Lucknow. He has been Dean (UGSE) & Pro Vice Chancellor at the Dr. APJ Abdul Kalam Technical University, Lucknow. His area of research interest includes data analytics, machine learning, artificial intelligence, networking, cloud computing, big data analytics and optimization.
Giancarlo Fortino (IEEE Fellow 22) is Full Professor of Computer Engineering at the Dept of Informatics, Modeling, Electronics, and Systems of the University of Calabria (Unical), Italy. He received a Ph D in Computer Engineering from Unical in 2000. He is also distinguished professor at Wuhan University of Technology and Huazhong Agricultural University (China), high-end expert at HUST (China), senior research fellow at the Italian ICAR-CNR Institute, CAS PIFI visiting scientist at SIAT – Shenzhen, and Distinguished Lecturer for IEEE Sensors Council. At Unical, he is the Rector’s delegate to Int’l relations, the chair of the Ph D School in ICT, the director of the Postgraduate Master course in INTER-Io T, and the director of the SPEME lab as well as co-chair of Joint labs on Io T established between Unical and WUT, SMU and HZAU Chinese universities, respectively. Fortino is currently the scientific responsible of the Digital Health group of the Italian CINI National Laboratory at Unical. He is Highly Cited Researcher 2020 and 2021 in Computer Science by Clarivate. Currently he has 19 highly cited papers in Wo S, and h-index=65 with 15600+ citations in Google Scholar. His research interests include wearable computing systems, e-Health, Internet of Things, and agent-based computing. He is author of 550+ papers in int’l journals, conferences and books. He is (founding) series editor of IEEE Press Book Series on Human-Machine Systems and Ei C of Springer Internet of Things series and AE of premier int’l journals such as IEEE TAFFC-CS, IEEE THMS, IEEE T-AI, IEEE Io TJ, IEEE SJ, IEEE JBHI, IEEE SMCM, IEEE OJEMB, IEEE OJCS, Information Fusion, JNCA, EAAI, etc. He chaired many int’l workshops and conferences (120+), was involved in a huge number of int’l conferences/workshops (500+) as IPC member, is/was guest-editor of many special issues (75+). He is cofounder and CEO of Sen Sys Cal S.r.l., a Unical spinoff focused on innovative Io T systems, and recently cofounder and vice-CEO of the spin-off Bigtech S.r.l, focused on big data, AI and Io T technologies. Fortino is currently member of the IEEE SMCS Bo G and of the IEEE Press Bo G, and chair of the IEEE SMCS Italian Chapter.
Prof. Aboul Ella Hassanein is Founder and Head of the Egyptian Scientific Research Group (SRGE) and Professor of Information Technology at the Faculty of Computer and Artificial Intelligence, Cairo University. Professor Hassanien is an ex-dean of the faculty of computers and information, Beni Suef University. Professor Hassanien has more than 800 scientific research papers published in prestigious international journals and over 40 books covering such diverse topics as data mining, medical images, intelligent systems, social networks and smart environment. Prof. Hassanien won several awards, including the Best Researcher of the Youth Award of Astronomy and Geophysics of the National Research Institute, Academy of Scientific Research (Egypt, 1990). He was also granted a scientific excellence award in humanities from the University of Kuwait for the 2004 Award and received the scientific—University Award (Cairo University, 2013). Also, he was honored in Egypt as the best researcher at Cairo University in 2013. He was also received the Islamic Educational, Scientific and Cultural Organization (ISESCO) prize on Technology (2014) and received the State Award for excellence in engineering sciences 2015. He was awarded the medal of sciences and arts of the first class by the President of the Arab Republic of Egypt, 2017.
