The version of Father Domenico Canalella O.P. (Musselburgh 1914 – Palermo 1978), a unique personality Dominican vast culture. His cell was filled with books mostly of classical authors who loved very much. He distinguished himself in the literary field with many writings and poems. With great passion translated into Sicilian The Iliad, The Odyssey and The Divine Comedy. For the latter work which earned the Gold Medal of Merit by the Ministry of Education.
