He has published papers and books and lectured about, military history, Icelandic security, international relations and international security. Kristín M. Jóhannsdóttir is an Assistant Professor at the University of Akureyri, Iceland. She has a PhD in Linguistics from the University of British Columbia, Canada, as well as BA and MA degrees in Icelandic from the University of Iceland.
