The human cell is a truly wonderful bit of stuff. We humans start off as one tiny cell that is fertilised in our mother’s womb. That cell splits to become two cells. The two cells split to become four, and so on. In just 47 splits, 30 TRILLION cells will exist that make up your body – and you’ll be ready to enter the world. Each cell has a job to do and will work hard to do that job for the rest of your life.
