Jennifer Roberts lost both her parents in a car accident when she was 12 years old. Because she was still a minor, it was decided that Jennifer was going to move from Boston to New York City to live with her father’s older sister and husband. When Jennifer graduated from the 12th grade, she decided to take a semester off before going to college. Jennifer planned on driving cross-country with her best friend, but her aunt thought it would be more beneficial and an excellent opportunity for growth if she spent her semester off in England. Semester Off Abroad is a fictional story about Jennifer learning about and experiencing a new and different culture and the people she meets along the way.

Anna S. Kennedy is a first time author, originally from Connecticut and now lives in Maine. Anna wrote mostly in high school and college, and then took some time off to start a career in hospitality management. After an accident 6 years ago, she started writing again during her recovery process. She’s been writing ever since. When she is not writing, she volunteers on several projects. Anna lived in Italy for 5 years when she was growing up and appreciates having been immersed in a different culture. Also, Anna’s always been fascinated by British culture. Anna has enjoyed living in Maine for over 10 years with her family.
