The author has been active in whale and dolphin conservation for over 30 years. She has already written several children's books and a novel about the fascinating marine mammals. With her self-illustrated books she wants to captivate readers with exciting stories and at the same time sensitise them to environmental issues and the protection of animals and species, always emphasising that only the sea is species-appropriate for marine mammals.
