Doris Thomas, born in Germany in 1966, lives in Bavaria. She has observed a wide variety of whale species herself on trips to the USA, Canada, Italy and many times to the Azores, and has swum with free-living dolphins in the ocean. What you know and love you want to protect! With power point lectures and her books, the author wants to inspire many people for the marine mammals, so that their habitat is better protected and they are not killed or abused in dolphinariums.
