Ford Madox Ford was a prolific English novelist and poet in the early 20th century.  Ford wrote the best-selling novel The Good Soldier, as well as the Fifth Queen trilogy and the Parade’s End series. 










The Fifth Queen: And How She Came to Court is the first novel in the trilogy.  The trilogy centers around Katharine Howard who became the fifth queen of King Henry VIII.  This book tells of how Katharine gained the attention of King Henry VIII.
