This book is the representative work of Collodi, an Italian children »s writer. In the book, the old carpenter Cherry gave Geppetto a piece of wood that could both cry and laugh. Geppetto carved it into a puppet that could dance and turn somersault, named Pinocchio. The naughty Pinocchio got rid of all his shortcomings and became an honest, obedient, studious human child who could help his parents.
