I »m a Cat is a novel created by Japanese writer Natsume Soseki, Natsume Soseki. It established Natsume Soseki »s position in the history of literature. The work vividly reflects the thought and life of the Japanese middle and petty bourgeoisie in the early twentieth century, sharply exposing and criticizing the "civilized" capitalist society of Meiji.
