Sabine Trinkaus wuchs im hohen Norden hinter einem Deich auf. Zum Studium verschlug es sie ins Rheinland, wo sie nach internationalen Lehr- und Wanderjahren sesshaft und heimisch wurde. Heute lebt sie in Alfter bei Bonn.2007 begann sie, ihre kriminellen Neigungen in schriftlicher Form auszuleben. Sie veröffentlichte Kurzgeschichten, für die sie einige Blumentöpfe gewann. 2012 begann sie dann, auch in langer Form zu morden. Im März 2019 erschien ihr sechster Roman und zweiter Thriller »Mutter Seelen Allein«.
