Dr. Naif Al-Yafei received his Ph D in Petroleum Engineering from Imperial College London in 2015, then joining Texas A&M University at Qatar as faculty member. Dr. Al-Yafei is known for his passion for teaching and his unique teaching style. He is the recipient of many teaching awards, such as the Excellence Teaching Award 2019, and the Excellence Award at the college teaching level. His achievement of this award at the beginning of his academic career as an assistant professor makes him the youngest recipient of this prestigious award. He has also developed new courses for undergraduate students, making significant changes to the curriculum in many subjects of the university’s petroleum engineering department. Dr. Naif has many publications in the field of education development; during his work in education, Dr. Naif has presented many workshops in some of the most important education conferences, contributing to the development of education systems.
