It introduces many kind strangers who helped the girl gain the strength to not only survive, but thrive. The book”s epilogue outlines some of the processes that have helped Jeanne to reach beyond survival and focus forward. Jeanne now lives with her husband, Robert, in their mountain home in Foresthill, CA.
