‘The True Christian Religion’, the last book to be published by Emanuel Swedenborg in 1771,  is a highly systematised explanation of traditional Christian theology and doctrine within which are contained many new and radically different spiritual insights. Using religious terminology, subjects such as God, The Trinity, Salvation, the Scriptures, Faith, Charity, Free Will, Regeneration, and the Last Judgment are extensively discussed.
