Walden; or, Life in the Woods is one of the world’s most widely read books, having sold millions upon millions of copies. This pocket-size edition draws us even more profoundly into Thoreau’s musings: it features highlighted passages to ponder, an introduction that examines the text from a contemporary perspective, and reflective writing exercises (with lined pages to write on).
