The other Leatherstocking Tales are Deerslayer, Last of the Mohicans, Pathfinder, and Pioneers. He is best remembered as a novelist who wrote numerous sea-stories and the historical novels known as the Leatherstocking Tales, featuring frontiersman Natty Bumppo.
