Wendy James is an Australian author of suburban suspense fiction. She currently lives in New South Wales with her husband and two of their four children. Her first novel, Out of the Silence, won the 2006 Ned Kelly Award for first crime novel, and her other books include the short story collection Why She Loves Him, and novels The Steele Diaries, Where Have You Been?, The Mistake and The Lost Girls.
