Harris is Chair Professor of Global and Environmental Studies, Head of the Department of Social Sciences, Director of the Social and Policy Research Unit, Senior Research Fellow in the Centre for Governance and Citizenship, and Chair Professor in the Department of Science and Environmental Studies at the Hong Kong Institute of Education. He is author or editor of a dozen other books on global environmental politics, policy and ethics.
