About the author

Manijeh Razeghi is the Walter P Murphy Professor of electrical and computer engineering, and the Director of the Center for Quantum Devices at Northwestern University. She is a Fellow of the MRS, IOP, IEEE, APS, SPIE, OSA, and IEC; a Fellow and Life Member of the Society of Women Engineers (SWE); an elected Life Fellow of SWE, IEEE, and MRS; and a member of the Electrochemical Society, ACS and AAAS. Razeghi’s current research interests are nanoscale optoelectronic quantum devices and systems from deep UV (100 nm) to Thz. (300 microns).
