How to Stop Sinning 

If you are tired of sinning and repenting but finding yourself back in that same sin, there is help for you. There is a place in God where a Christian can live free of sin on a regular basis. It is not easily or casually found. It takes diligence and determination on the part of the Christian who wants to live free of sin. It is therefore necessary to find this place, to experience freedom and be at peace with God.

As a Christian who truly loves his God, I was not able to live this way in my early walk with God. It has taken years of failure, agony, and frustration to finally find this way of living. There were victorious periods in my life, but they were short-lived because sin would continually plague me. This was a roller coaster ride I had to get off. I had to eventually leave my first church and go on a quest to find the answers that had eluded me all my early Christian life. After years of trying and failing, searching and learning, and even going to Bible college and earning a BS in bible studies, I finally came across a teaching in scripture that helped me understand what I needed to do to experience freedom from sin. I would very much like to share this revelation with you because as it has truly helped me, and I believe it will help youif you are serious about living a life free from sin.

Pastor Bruce Smith has served in the ministry of teaching God’s Word for over thirty-three years in the Harrisburg area. He is a licensed and ordained minister of the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania Jurisdiction of the Church of God in Christ, headquartered in Memphis, Tennessee. Pastor Bruce holds an associate of arts degree in biblical studies from Christ College in Tulsa, Oklahoma, and a bachelor of science degree in bible from Lancaster Bible College in Lancaster, Pennsylvania.
Pastor Bruce has traveled overseas for pastor training seminars and evangelistic meetings in Nigeria, Haiti, and Puerto Rico. Pastor Bruce Smith’s community services include serving as a member of the Board of Directors for the Bethesda Mission, the Harrisburg Spanish Speaking Center, and the New Life for Girls drug and alcohol rehabilitation organization.
Pastor Bruce has served as youth pastor at the Shiloh Church of God in Christ under the late Pastor Carl Hines, as assistant pastor of Word Fellowship Christian Center under Pastor David Landis, as Senior Pastor and founder of Christian Fellowship Church, and as the current senior pastor of Breath of Life ministries, located at 64th and Derry Streets in Harrisburg, Pennsylvania.
