The Memorabilia Xenophon – An essential text for understanding Socrates, Xenophon’s Memorabilia is the compelling tribute of an affectionate student to his teacher, providing a rare firsthand account of Socrates’ life and philosophy. He is known for his writings on the history of his own times, preserving the sayings of Socrates, and the life of ancient Greece.
