In a future world where most people spend most of their time in VR pods – a few doing business, but the masses just interacting or gaming – you’re John Lemure, famous virtual reality gamer. Millions follow your heroic and adult sensory stream from a high stakes, male-dominated Arabian Nights fantasy game full of gender bending traps.
Transformed into your own female fantasy figure, you’ve struggled through mental and physical transformations and been forced to invent a sister (‘Joan Lemure’) to masquerade as to hide your gender change, which in this chauvinistic world represents utter shame and permanent status loss. But after a brief escape to the real world (still inside your pod, of course!), you uncovered a genuine plot against you, orchestrated by your old nemesis, Garton.
Garton’s plot, a mysterious sorceress, new magic that’s unnatural to this world, and a misstep or two on your part, have all combined to leave you in an exposed and weak position. Guilty of one of this world’s most serious crimes, and dragged back to your harem by the sorceress, you counted yourself lucky it was your eunuch, not you, who got swapped into and trapped as the lewd petrified form of the slave girl who’d plotted against you.
But now, pretending to be your feminized eunuch as you’re interrogated by the sorceress, you’ve begun to suspect your escape wasn’t so lucky – that this too is part of the plot against you, and that the Lady Aleesh herself is one of the spinners of the web ensnaring you.
And the worst thing? You’re starting to suspect Aleesh may not be human.
