As the eighteenth century draws to a close, a mystic figure appears on the timeline of history whose presence is even felt today. Some call him a pirate sailing under the black flag of death. Steve Barber is a pastor who was born and raised in Tampa, Florida. He and Sheri, his wife of thirty-three years, continue to live in Tampa, where his family has lived for four generations. Their four children all live in Tampa also. They have one granddaughter, who is the apple of their eyes.
