Laura de Barra is a Cork-born property portfolio developer, author and illustrator. Prior to working in property, Laura studied for her degree in fashion at Edinburgh College of Art. She went on to work as a designer across both menswear and womenswear for a large high-street fashion supplier and high-street brands. Her previous books, Gaff Goddess and Décor Galore, were No. 1 bestsellers, with Décor Galore winning the An Post Lifestyle Book of the Year Award in 2021. She is a regular guest on RTÉ Radio 1, BBC Radio Scotland/London and The Late Late Show, and contributes to the Irish Times.
