Peter S. Bernard, Ph D, is Professor of Mechanical Engineering at the University of Maryland. He is a fellow of the American Physical Society and serves as Chief Technology Officer of Vor Cat, Inc., a start-up company developing computer software for turbulent flow prediction based on his research in gridfree vortex methods.

James M. Wallace, Ph D, is Professor of Mechanical Engineering at the University of Maryland. He is a fellow of the American Physical Society and an inductee in the Academy of Distinguished Engineering Alumni of the Georgia Institute of Technology.
