Sobre o autor

Sergio Amadeu da Silveira is a professor at the Federal University of ABC and a sociologist with a Ph D in Political Science from the University of São Paulo. He researches the relationships between technology, culture and power and has investigated control society, network activism, hacker culture and collaborative mobilization in defense of the common good. He is a former member of the Brazilian Internet Steering Committee in Brazil, author of Everything about Every@ne: Digital Networks, Privacy and the Personal Data Trade (2017) and editor of the Digital Democracy series.
