This book is a monograph written by Sun Changwu on the relationship between Taoism and the development of ancient Chinese literature. It was published for the first time by Nankai University Press in 2005. In ancient China, the coexistence and integration of Taoism, Buddhism and Confucianism form the basis of ancient Chinese culture. Based on this understanding, the author studies the phenomena and works related to Taoism in ancient Chinese poems, which shows that Taoism plays a driving role in the development of ancient Chinese literature.
