About the author

Robert Tannenbaum is Professor of the Development of Human Systems at the Graduate School of Management, University of California, Los Angeles. He is also a Consulting Editor of the Journal of Applied Behavioral Science and coauthor (with Irving Weschler and Fred Massarik) of Leadership and Organization: A Behavioral Science Approach (New York, Mc Graw-Hill, 1961).
Warren H. Schmidt is also affiliated with the UCLA Graduate School of Management, where he is Senior Lecturer in Behavioral Science. Besides writing extensively in the fields of human relations and leadership and conference planning, Mr. Schmidt wrote the screenplay for a film, “Is It Always Right to Be Right?” which won an Academy Award in 1970.
