The Preface to Zhu Zi”s Inspiring Poems, a printed version, is now in the National Palace Museum, Taipei. The content of this volume is Zhu Xi”s 20 inspirational poems after being inspired by Chen Ziang”s Thirty-eight Gan Yu Poems by the poet Chen Ziang in the early Tang Dynasty, which was written by Zhao Mengfu as a gift to his friends in the second year of Emperor Qing Dynasty (1313). Yu Ji said: "(Zhao Mengfu) Sacred Religion Preface in the Xing script is very successful, and the regular method won the Luo Shen Fu and took its mark." The font of this volume is beautiful and vigorous, and the knots are different in density. On the basis of gentleness and elegance, it does not lose its strange and colorful interest. Although it is a Xing script, it can be seen that it is dedicated to regular script. It is an excellent model for learning Xing script.
