Small Script of Zhong Yao 

Zhong Yao, named Yuan Chang, from Yingchuan Changshe. At the end of the Eastern Han Dynasty, the official was appointed as Shangshu Bushe, and he was named Dongwu Tinghou. Emperor Ming of Wei in the Three Kingdoms became the Taifu and named Dinglinghou. Zhong Yao has pioneered the formation of regular script and is also the founder of "Wei Jin Charm". Zhang Huai”s "Shu Duan" in the Tang Dynasty commented on his book: " Yuanchang”s calligraphy is peerless, hard and soft. Between the dots and paintings, it is so interesting, it can be described as profound and elegant, since the Qin and Han Dynasties, only one person." Zhongyao”s handwritten writings are mainly in small script. This book contains six types of small script, namely Announcement Form, Recommended Jizhi Form, He Jie Form, Graveyard Bingshe Tie, Return Sign and Li Ming Form. Except for Recommended Ji Zhi Biao and He Jie Biao, the others are all passed down as Wang Xizhi”s copies. When the writing style of Zhongyao”s small regular script was changed, it had various appearances. Some have not broken away from the writing style of the official script, but they are in regular script, and the writing is simple and smooth.
