Thousand-Character Classic of Song Huizong in Regular Script-Nong Fang Poem 

"In the history of calligraphy, besides Yan, Liu, Ou, and Zhao, Shou Jin is another famous regular style. This type of calligraphy has a horizontal drawing with a hook and a vertical drawing with a little bit. It stretches like a dagger, and the hook is as strong as a dagger. The silver hook is thin and strong, hard and straight, and has a unique style. Its founder, Zhao Ji, Song Huizong, took Huang Tingjian and Xue Ji from the method, changed his law, and created a new typeface with the name "Shou Jin." Zhao Mengfu in the Yuan Dynasty commented on the Shou Jin as "strokes are beautiful and pleasant." Ming Tao Zongyi also praised his book as "natural charm, which is not found in the old traces." This book contains the representative works of Song Huizong”s thin gold book Thousand Characters and Nong Fang Poems.Thousand Characters was written in Chongning third year, and it was Zhao Ji”s early regular script work. Plain paper, a few inches in size, ten characters per line, a total of one hundred lines. It is 30.9 centimeters in length and 322.1 centimeters in width. It is now collected in the Shanghai Museum. Painting and calligraphy connoisseur Yang Renkai commented that "the whole is beautiful, thin and hard", and "has a sense of elegance and cleanliness."Nong Fang Poem, silk, 27.2 cm in length, 26.9 cm in width, nearly five inches in size, two characters per line, 20 lines in total, collected by the National Palace Museum in Taipei. Chen Bangyan”s postscript of the Qing Dynasty said: "This volume uses the painting method to make the book, the pen and ink borders are removed, and the lines are like orchids and bamboos.
