Tianming Village 

Tianming Village is one of Zhang Henshui”s historical novels. The story takes place in Anhui Province during the rise of the Taiping Heavenly Kingdom. Cao Jinfa, the evil gentry, conspired with the government to gain profits by collecting grain. Unexpectedly, it was revealed that Wang Menggang and his son fought against each other, but they were persecuted. Li Fengchi, a squire, once helped Wang and his son. Unexpectedly, the war turned Wang Li, a friend in need, into two hostile parties. When the Taiping army broke into Qianshui, Wang Menggang and his son were forced to join the Taiping army because of revenge. Li Fengchi contributed his family property, organized group training, and led the village to retreat to Tianming Village to seek refuge. Wang”s father and son, busy with self preservation, were ordered to attack Tianming Village.
