Muir spent four months in the summer of 1869 in the Nevada Mountains, and the diary that he wrote down became the immortal literary masterpiece.In four months’ journey, Muir studied mountains, ores, glacial traces, climate, plants, animals and so on, in addition to the shepherd. The achievements are no less than that of any other investigation team.In his writing, Muir showed a master style of literary grace.
