About the author


W. H. Hudson (1841-1922) brought together his talents in writing and ornithology. His naturalist tendencies compelled him to research the floral and fauna of his hometown, Buenos Aires. After moving to England he published many books, his most famous fiction being Green Mansions and the non-fiction Far Away and Long Ago (1918).
