Caillou: Rosie’s Pacifier 

Caillou teases his little sister Rosie about her pacifier, not understanding why she can’t be without it. After she gets upset, Mommy takes Rosie in her arms and explains that the pacifier is a way for Rosie to feel reassured and comforted, just like her blankie. Rosie wants to speak, though, and as she starts communicating and becoming more independent, the pacifier becomes less important.

Christine L’Heureux is the founder of Chouette Publishing and the cocreator of Caillou. She is the author of several books, including
Caillou: Good Night!,
Caillou: Play with Me, and
Caillou: Rosie’s Pacifier. Pierre Brignaud is the illustrator of all the Caillou titles in the Hand in Hand series, Step by Step series and Baby Caillou.
They both live in Montreal, Quebec.
