Meagan Stevens and her sister Chris, are brought up with good Christian morals. Mark De Fore is the son of a minister and the father of one. They are brought together by fate, and their adultress affair that follows goes against all their beliefs. Mark’s wife Karla, struggles with alcohol; their family is torn apart. Megan’s ex-husband Robert, a handsome popular sportscaster struggles with a very darkside. Megan seeks comfort with her friends and especially with Greg an artist whom she meets in Paris. She seeks his advise, however, their meeting and his move to New York, alters his life forever. These families are linked by the lake that drifts by their estates. Evil cuts through the fog, death lies beneath the water. Can the love of Megan and Mark survive? Should it?

Kathryn M. White is a southern born writer born in the mountains of Kentucky. She lives now, in Elizabeth City, NC with her husband, Glenn. She writes for the joy of seeing words come alive. She has published short stories, poetry and wrote a column by way of newspapers but now the time is right for a novel. Another book is in the making.
