Lasco Atkins was born in Hong Kong and was posted around the world several times in his youth. Once an adult, he attended art college then film school to better understand filmmaking. In and outside school, he excelled at camera work and lighting. Ever since a he was a child, he loved writing and, in doing so, creating stories. As a film director, he would write all his own scripts for his short films. Eventually, he began writing features, nearly always too ambitious for his budgets. He would attempt big-budget effects films on low/no budgets. Working as an actor part-time, he experienced many big-budget films and TV shows, widening his understanding of being in front and behind the camera. Writing four feature-film scripts gave him the idea to turn them into books. With all novellas and scripts complete, he is tackling the publishing world to get his ideas out there. Based in London, he is at the heart of Hollywood films, using the capitol as a European gateway to productions. Inspired by many films in his past, it is his time to tell his stories in this day and age of reboots and remakes. He has four highly original ideas of his own to release into the world.
