Chapter Two presents controller designs using the traditional proportional integral derivative (PID) control algorithm to control a planar two-link flexible manipulator. Chapter Three presents an active vibration control (AVC) system for trailed two-wheeled implements (TTWI) avoiding instruments damage. Chapter Four reports on the kinematics of a series-parallel manipulator whose architecture is based on the topology of the 3RPS tangential parallel manipulator where R, P and S stand, respectively, for Revolute, Prismatic and Spherical joints.
