This book includes two stories of If You Want to Eat in Warring States and If You Repair The Great Wall in Qin Dynasty. The first story reflects the current social situation of warring states. In those days, the local people had a miserable life due to the confused fighting of the feudal princes. The second story tells the experience of an ordinary person to repair the Great Wall as the forced labour due to the collection of books. The phenomenon implicitly sketches the history of burning books and burying the literati in pits by First Emperor of Qin.
