Charlie’S L’Il Black Bike 

With all his heart, young Charlie wants a BMX bicycle. He has finished with safety wheels and has practiced extensively on his friends BMX bicycles. Unfortunately, his parents budget doesnt stretch that far, and he ends up with his dreams having quite a setback. But nothing daunted Charlie; with a lot of imagination, he manages to have amazing adventures on his little black bike.

After observing three sons, with very different personalities, and later a batch of grandsons, not a girl in sight, the author has learnt to appreciate the
ever-changing ways of the young.

The author lives in South Africa with her husband of forty-one years. At present, she is writing a record of her childhood in the mountainous area of the Eastern Cape but still finds time to write a short story when one or other grandson amuses her.
