Like most pink-nosed dwarf mongooses, she and her littermates were born deep underground in a burrowed-out termite hill.’


’However, unlike her brothers, her mind did not perform like a typical pup…hers was filled with an endless parade of daydreams —- maladaptive daydreams.’

’Mimea’s family tried to understand her lack of focus, outbursts, and needless fears. However, they could not because they were unable to walk the endless halls of her imagination.’
