The Season of Tung Flowers is an essay about memories. With the descriptive structure and the tone of telling stories, the author recalls the sad past experience of having labor reconstruction in the remote mountainous region of Xiangqian, as well as two kind sisters that offered him help and warmth in those dim days. The Season of Tung Flowers takes Tung flowers as its clues and inserts the memory of past incidents in the descriptions of Tung flowers’ blossom and withering.
