Arriving their he feel in love with the beauty of it, he could not wait to climb the mountains that surrounded it. But after a few days he felt a strange atmosphere among the villagers – why were they so fearful?

Marie Campbell was born in the Highland village of Ballachulish in 1934. She married, had five children and was married for 25 years. When the children grew up and married, Marie worked in hotels. she had a snack van in Glencoe, selling hamburgers, then worked at Sullen Voe in the Shetlands a the oil terminal. At 40 Maire went back to school, obtaining English O-level with General Studies.
